A Question for the United States? Is it time to move back toward a more decentralized government. Decentralization allows for governance that is closer to the people, more tailored to regional needs, and less burdened by federal overreach. Instead of one-size-fits-all policies imposed from Washington, states and local governments would have the flexibility to make decisions that directly reflect the unique economic, cultural, and social circumstances of their populations. By reducing the top-down pressure from the federal government, we encourage innovation, increase accountability, and empower citizens to have a more direct influence on the policies that impact their daily lives. This approach not only respects the principle of federalism but also strengthens the foundation of individual liberty and self-governance.
